I backed that months ago, and encourage anyone else reading this do the same! At least watch the trailer, and you'll be convinced. Excellent looking game.

Well, but games from FG are unique. All other horror games are only nice to have, but not really masterpieces like Penumbra or Amnesia are. What I mainly mean is the gameplay, where other games aren't as good.

FG is one of the best game companies out there.

Sorry for off-topic, but I think removing custom stories feature is like shooting their own foots. Custom stories were the most important part of Amnesia success. If there will be no way to mod this game, it will be a game to complete it once and then to remove it from hard drive. I hope FG/TCR crews are just kidding. Again sorry for off topic.

That's not off-topic, in fact the discussion on Outlast if off-topic, yours is right in-line with the point of this thread.

But to your point, they didn't remove custom stories, they just aren't adding support for them. They'd only be removing custom stories if they had already implemented them; they never claimed there would be CS support.

And why would they be kidding about something that important? I doubt we'll see CS support, the devs seem wholly focused on just making the core game as good as it can be.

And you know this based on what, the one cgi trailer they've released?

Yes, a feature that was created in less than a day was obviously the most important one and the only reason it got so famous. Who cares about the sound design, level design, atmosphere or horror? Also, I have repleyed the original campaign several times.

Please tell me YOU aren't serious in thinking I'M not serious. If you don't follow a game and anticipate it and upcoming news of it what even makes you even a fan then? Tongue It's like, "oh I am a really huge fan of this game, but I don't really care to know anything about it or follow it or have the desire to play it whatsoever"

lol

Patiently awaiting Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs...
