Justin Carter: Jailed For FB Comment

We should band together to help a fellow gamer by signing this petition:

https://www.change.org/petitions/release...ok-comment

What a wretched state of affairs. I can't believe this shit goes on.

I would help, but I'm underaged. That means under 18 if you don't know.

Hopefully. This forum is a bit crowded, but at least not that of Facebook's. It's just outrageous. I mean it's just a joke. Does the Police doesn't detect jokes? If I were 18 I'll sign that Petition right away!

Also, do you sign the petition?

Now that's hot.

On-topic:

I believe this guy lives in Texas. The American south is agonizing.

If not jail, then what? A slap on the wrist? Not interested in helping deliberately stupid people.

I think investigation might be in order, but prison? Too much.

I only see 8 years as being "too much." I wouldn't have given more than 2 to 3 months.

It doesn`t matter if he actually planned something or not. He probably will be abused by the government as a cheap example to keep others in check.

That said, if they do sentence him to anything it should be to work in an aid agency for a few weeks.
