NOITNETTA YAP

Let's see if you are smart;
Oh, just open your eyes and
Grab the chance now for
It is the only one; It is
Calling, but you are deaf.

Hint:
Spoiler below!

ARE
YOU
PAYING
TATENTION

Use it.

Janet was quite ill one day.
Febrile trouble came her way.
Martyr-like, she lay in bed;
Aproned nurses softly sped.
Maybe, said the leech judicial
Junket would be beneficial.
Juleps, too, though freely tried,
Augured ill, for Janet died.
Sepulchre was sadly made.
Octaves pealed and prayers were said.
Novices with ma'y a tear
Decorated Janet's bier.

This poem is rotTEN.

Hint:
Spoiler below!
TIME

-6 is my favourite number

What month was I born?

END OF TRANSCRIPTION

•I have found the answer to the universe and everything, but this sign is too small to contain it.

I don't get it.

RE: NOITNETTA YAP

Title:
NOITNETTA YAP = Pay attention (backwards)

The first hint:
Bold letters = ROTATE

Underlined letters: PAY TATENTION
Underlined letters minus bold letters: PAY NTION

Poems (when reading the first letters):
1)
LOGIC

2)
January
February
March
April
May
June
July
August
September
October
November
December

Other things on the second poem:

rotTEN = the number ten

1. On line number ten of poem two:
Octaves; the number = 8

2. rot = rotate - as referred to in hint 1
Rotate ten?

The second hint: Time

The second poem refers months. The hint points to the poem having something
to do with time, which re-inforces the assumption of the poem being an anagram
for the months of the year.

If rotTEN is referring to the number ten the corresponding month would be October.

Negative six is my favourite number. 10 minus 6 = 4.

So my guess is April, because that is the fourth month.

RE: NOITNETTA YAP

It's like a Cyberdreams game, except no Giger art or story, and a hell of a lot more confusing.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

I got the "Pay attention" part, but I'm confused as to why I should care? I mean, what's the goal of this exercise?

Part of it, is to figure out what you must do.
