So particles aren't showing up for me. I placed a particle system with file scare_dust.ps (from original amnesia folder) and every other setting default (white colour, active, default fade min/maxes) at about height 2 above floor all around the room and I can't see it at all in game.

The room has box light 0.02 b/r/g and a point light besides the chandelier.

i believe it has to do with the max and min distance settings for the particles but i'm not 100% sure with that. I haven't fiddled with particles that much yet.

RE: #Particlenoob

Try unchecking "Fade at distance" (Or something like that)

Trying is the first step to success.

A lot of particle systems have weird placement and are hard to see. Try and play around with more than just one, and yeah fade at distance can be very good to uncheck.

Oh, or turn up the alpha. This is done by going into the colors-panel and write the amount of alpha you want, followed by pressing enter. 10 or 50 should be enough

Trying is the first step to success.
