Moddb buttons

I noticed that some people on this forum have Moddb buttons in their signature, but most of them are the ranking in popularity button instead of the numerical rating.

Any reason for this? What are your preferences?

I don't know, I just a have a button, it's small, and not very intrusive. I could use a bigger button but I don't really like them.
