A Machine For Pigs objects in Level Editor

Hey guys. I'm curious how to use the AMFP entities/static objects in the Amnesia Level Editor. Of course, I can just copy and replace the AMFP entities/statics objects folders to my Dark Descent ones. But I really don't want to mess it up. I've seen that even the same entities (Like equipment) in AMFP are bigger than the DD ones. I wan't to be sure that everything works when I finish a custom story. Besides, that sometimes Editor crashed when I open AMFP content.I know I have to move the AMFP stuff to my custom_stories folder but it's uncomfortable to work like because there are that many objects which are not showing. What do?

Had that problem too. I had to reinstall my game twice till i installed it right. Basically, just take the texture, static_objects, entity folders and copy them to the amnesia directory. But important: Delete the meshes you find BEFORE. You dont want to mess up your files...

Well im developing a mod with aamfp assets too and i played one. It worked fine and i didnt have the objects installed. I think it should work when you imported the assets to your mod.

Wait, do I have to delete the meshes in the Amnesie DD or AMFP folder?

Delete the .msh files and .anm files from the MFP files before you import them to TDD. Also do NOT replace anything. Don't forget to install the beta patch.

If you use the beta patch when making the story, people might need the beta patch to play it as well. Depends whether you use content that is exclusive to it.

I have a video for importing the MFP assets. If you need any help, perhaps it could be of use.

you include aamfp assets in the mod folder. This means massive download, but easy install for non modders, and I think setting all this up is just too much to ask of regular players.

I'm referring to exclusive content as the unique scripts added with the patch. If you use those, people without the patch will just crash because of syntax errors since the scripts aren't recognized.
