RE: Dark Souls 2

I am still very busy on trying to get through the first one, and plus since I don't have a console I'll wait until the PC release.

THEN I will definitely play the hell out of it.

Still haven't gotten past the part where the first bird whisks me to the first area. I've just been too busy/tired.

I'm waiting for it to come out on PC. I've heard it's way better on PC than Xbox or PS3. Gotta wait till April though :/

Just played some of the beginning parts and am exploring the Forest of Lost Giants area. Loving every minute of it.

Well, to be honest I was struggling big time to get through the initial level, it was quite harder then I thought. Finally managed to skip after some time.

Unfortunately I couldn't play as much as I wanted on the weekend, but nevertheless I managed to kill the first boss. I'm in love with this game. <3

RE: Dark Souls 2

I explored a fair bit by now, going to take on the Ruin Sentinels or the Royal Rat Vanguard (maybe the Greatsword is usefull here) after work today. Still extremely happy with it, though I kinda miss the way they stacked the world together in the first game, yet that is okey as a trade-off for the refined fight mechanics and the slightly more clear effort in storytelling. What a lovely game. Good experimentation on the formulas of the old games, it feels like it took the strongest points from Demons and Dark. On a side note: The focus on enemy packs going after you is really challenging.

Spoiler below!
Anyways, how are you guys doing? That Pursuer was one nasty piece of work! Going for a Strength/Dex build and currently donning a Drangleic Longsword+1 and shield and a mix of elite knight and royal swordsman armor. Still below 70% weightr, so I am fairly quick, but after using the Broadsword (+4) and Leather Shield for so long, I need to get used to the different END usage and movement speed. But will work, I used to have a similar build in DS (some middle-weight armor, grazeland shield and black knight sword.). Lvl 64 atm.
