RE: Windows 7 vs. Windows Vista vs. Windows XP

I am satisfied with windows xp and about 7 I am going to try it tonight. I think it will be good because it's much lighter and advance than xp.

Windows 7 is the best OS by Microsoft.
However, it's still not comparable to MacOS and Linux (currently openSUSE 11.3)

RE: Windows 7 vs. Windows Vista vs. Windows XP

I had some fears about Windows 7.
I used to have Vista, but after some time I sold it and started to use Windows 7 RC, but after I saw that 7 is a lot better than Vista, I bought the license and now I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Windows 7 for modern games, and some games that won't work on 7, I use good old XP.

XP is best for games that use dx9 (most do)
XP cannot read more than 4gb ram
Windows 7 runs games that use dx10 and dx11 (Only some very new games do this )

If you have a variety of games that work and you are happy with, then stay with XP as long as you can.
I read that here: http://www.techradar.com/news/software/o...ng--716638

Windows 7. I've not had a single game that hasn't worked yet. Even if sometimes that happens, which I doubt, I can always install the XP mode to play those games. Smile
