RE: Amnesia: Chromanin

I think I edited them to be static entities, but somehow the animations were left. So I scaled in Level Editor them with no problem.

Made a short vid about that thingy. Funny thing I noticed today is that light still shanges on them. Oh, the sounds in the background is an ambience made by me.

BTW I'm working full steam, basic outline of the last* level is finished. Now lots of detailing, light and scripting is to be done. Current version: Alpha 1.11.96

*UPDATE Actually, the level before the last one.

Super cool :D Sounds like you have about 1/3 ~ 1/2 (depending on amount of scripting/mapping/writingv remaining) of your story done now, keep it up; it gets easier from here!

Yeah, even more, so I'm very close now. I hate mapping, it's such a chore. Although very creative, it's really a lot of work. Especially I'm a perfectionist (well, at most times).

Really? I love mapping! It's a lot of detail work, but it's also very... I dunno, meditative(?) work to me. Once the main set-up of the level is done, all that's left is detailing (which I hardly have to think about), so I put on an audiobook or some fantastic music and just keep mapping until it looks pretty or I run out of assets to add :P

I personally find mapping really awesome xD, especially when its a really cool idea that you're making and its working the way you want it to be.

I would say the scripting is the real problem, especially if you're trying to make some stuff with complexity. So trust me, mapping is the easy part.

I find scripting to be the more interesting side. Perhaps it's just my "OCD" yet lack of patience that gets me when I try to make levels. Of course scripting takes a lot of patience too though...
I just like scripting in general. Making sweet effects is always satisfying.

Yup. I love when after numerous fails smth starts to work ^^

I put too much emphasis in that post. The problem for me is that mapping sometimes gets awfully repeatable.
@CarnivorousJelly You gave me a splendid idea ! I'm gonna listen to some audiobook/podcast instead of music.
