doesn't really look like a spider imo... Lutra? Otter?
EDIT: Mudcrab, maybe?

After completing qcode, it would only make sense to try to do something with count.exe. Does anyone have any idea what its purpose might be?

Guess some kind of countdown (until more info is released?). But looks like it hasn't started yet. I wonder if we can already do something with the code in qWxx.txt. But without further information it could be anything.
