Perhaps I don't watch enough movies.

In my opinion Pentagram/Baphomet is more cliché than the Cross of St. Peter. If you watch any horror movies or listen to sub-genres of metal music regularly, you usually see at least one of the Christian themed symbols: Cross of St. Peter (upside down cross), 666, Pentagram, Baphomet and Sheep and/or Goat. Most of them are so used in fact that they have lost a lot of their magic as both a horror and a shock element.

Had to do a bit of research because I wasn't really sure, but based on my limited knowledge I'll try to answer as I understand it.

1) Antichrist and Anti-Christian are two different things. Anti-Christian means an individual/group simply going against Christianity as religion and faith, therefore it can be used as such.
2) Antichrist on the other hand is bigger, more wider thing that differs from religion to religion and faith to faith. But in general many Christians seem to consider that an A(a)ntichrist(s) is/are someone or something going against Jesus before his second coming. Also those being part of it are trying to conquer the entire world before the end comes.

666 is also somewhat interesting concept and symbol in the Bible. Some consider it to be a math problem that leads to Nero, and therefore he must be part of the Antichrist. That I learned long ago while I was going through random YouTube videos:

I am guessing that Outlast II will be having some indoctrinated death cult members or other extremists as the enemies.

I always thought the Anti-Christ was just the opposite of Jesus Chirst/ Son of the Devil but that's just from the movies.

The only weapon I recognise in that image is the Rocket Launcher in the top left corner. Red Faction is such as great game ;-;

Also, I got nothing to contribute to the discussion since Outlast is like... Not anywhere within my discussion zone~

If there isn't, that's the final nail in the coffin for the chance of me playing it. Seriously even if it worked in Penumbra(Black Plague)/Amnesia, no combat in horror games in becoming a cliché in itself. It's now an easy cheat way to be "scary". People who say survival horror games cant be scary with some form of combat seriously needs to lie down because the first 3(or 4 if you found it scary) silent hill games were scary as shit and those games had god-damn ray-guns!(though they had to been unlocked but the point remains.)

Basically there needn't to be a gun in the game. If it will be, ammo should be scarce so the player doesn't feel overpowered. I was thinking of some type mechanics which will add some interaction in defending himself, not just running away.

Yeah, at least have something that the player can use. Even Black Plague, a game with no proper combat you could still kill the infected by using a whole of boxes.
