[SOLVED] Full Conversion save problem

Hi ! Big Grin

I'm having a little issue since the update of Amnesia : in my full conversion, there is no "Save & Quit" button anymore! Does someone know how to fix this?

Thanks ! Smile

RE: Full Conversion save problem

It seems after hard mode was released, any FC mods can utilize it. So if you select hard mode when you start a new game in your mod, you will not have the Save & Exit option, just Exit and a separate Save which consumes tinderboxes. I wonder if it's possible to alter this behaviour...

There was a bug when hard mode was first released which I believe converted normal save games into hard mode ones, so if you saved during that time, your FC save might've been converted. Try just starting a new game and see if the issue persists.

RE: Full Conversion save problem

Thank you for your answer, the thing is I was in dev mode so my menu never show up and I don't have to choose between normal and hard mode, so I think the game is assuming I'm playing in hard mode.
Now I go through the menu to launch the game and it indeed ask me to choose, so there wasn't really any problem... Sorry for the inconvenience, thank you again for your help ! Smile

Edit : Well now I have another issue : there is no tinderboxes in my FC, I wanted the player to be able to save with save points in hard mode, but since the autosave doesn't work, I don't know if that's possible Sad

Sounds like you want hard mode to not be an option for your mod. I'm sure it's possible, but I'm not certain how. You could probably start the mod with the Amnesia131111.exe beta executable to not have the hard mode option. I think Streets of London includes that executable.

My bad, seems it was Penumbra: Necrologue that had it included, in a NO_STEAM_USERS folder. I'd post it myself but it's a bit gray in terms of legality.

RE: Full Conversion save problem

I see. I tested it myself and I get the same error. Not sure why but since the 131111 exe was a beta, perhaps it doesn't work.

I tested ATSD.exe from Amnesia The Second Dimension and that one still worked. It is basically the Amnesia.exe from 1.3.1, and does not have the hard mode.
