Take the LEFT path before the stairs, the first cell to the right is the one with the hammer.

The log did not show anything wrong either. So have no idea what to suggest other than being rude and saying you are looking for it in the wrong place

Your right. There is a left hallway isn't there. I swear I never saw it. I'm sorry about all of this inconvenience.
