OK, look... I'm getting into Modding for amnesia... im a experienced 3D modeler... how about i just model this sucker for practice since it doesn't look that good...Dodgy

I'll make an arm, holding a flash light and batteries
I'll rip-off the lantern pose and make him hold the torch backwards (like this)

I'll model 3 or 4 different skins so we have some variety Cool
Example 1
Example 2
Example 3
Example 4

As for the coders/scripters.... can you add a texture to the light?

@DIGI Byte

Don't bother making it for Amnesia yet.
We need to get some input from the dev's to show us how to import animations.
If I already knew that, the flashlight would have probably been finished by now Wink

.zip   flashlight texture by DIGI_Byte.zip (Size: 272.17 KB / Downloads: 170)
I made a texture, not sure if it should be in TGA or DDS, I haven't installed my DDS photoshop plugin yet so... but I'm sure the coders will know whats best for it

this link may help

RE: Penumbra flashlight in Amnesia?

Uh DIGI, it's cool that you try to make it and all...
But there is really no use at the moment.
If we can't animate the hand and/or lantern, there is no way we can import it.
