I've no idea where to post this but I'm being driven mad with problems in Amnesia.
First of all, I have the problem with the upside down graphics. But that can be fixed in the options screen yes? (See my final problem below as to why I can't fix this)
Second, when I try to play the game any time I turn Daniel the scene that was before me before I turned is black and slightly transparent and moves across the screen, ie: It follows me.
Third: When I put oil in the lantern I can't see the level of oil. I can use the lantern, so I know there's oil in it, but I have no idea how much is there.
Finally: When I open the options screen on the title screen, it is blank. I can't change any options. The same happens when I try to change profiles. I can't choose a save, I can only continue from where I left off.

I would really appreciate help with these problems.

You should go to ati.com and download new drivers for your graphics card and update your current drivers.

why no-one thinks of updating drivers? I don't know...
should like make people read that before they post in technical help, kinda like a common causes /solutions thread, we have one right?

I came here for help, not grief. Why would you even bother posting such pointless drivel after the problem is solved?

It's not pointless. DIGI is right. Most of the topics here are either because a) the user has an intel card, or b) the user didn't update their drivers.

Its sad because we have a troubleshooting guide that is stickied in this very forum. Updating your drivers should be one of the first things you try Tongue

I had updated them not so long ago actually, I thought they were fine for the job. You really shouldn't come on to say 'oh it's common sense' or 'oh how could you not know this?' You just sound like arrogant trolls.

But it IS common sense.

Sorry, but we aren't being trolls. Stop being so defensive.

You are the one exhibiting troll-like behavior, what right do you have to call DIGI's words "pointless drivel"?
