Solved: 8 Years, 1 Month ago Any possible way of 'cheating' ?

Well, I hate it when I want to light up the place / make some light and I'm out of tinderboxes or oil.
I've tried searching for cheats made by the development but found none and trainers are rejected by the game itself when it detects them. I get some error saying that it can't run it whenever I try to play with a trainer.

My question is... or are:
Is it possible to use cheats/trainers to work without restriction?
Is it possible to change a setting from the game folder's files to add more tinderboxes or other items?

I just want to create a 1800 atmosphere by lighting up the place, for example when I was working in the laboratory of the castle next to the wine cellar. One more thing: I'm stuck where the stairs felt and only have 3 of the 4 substances needed for preparing the acid... how can I get out?

Thanks.

Go to the maps folder and edit the .hps files of a map.

in OnEnter(), place this:

for(int i=0;i<100;i++) GiveItemFromFile("tinderbox_"+i, "tinderbox.ent");

Which will give you 100 tinderboxes when you enter the map.
I'm just saying that you CAN "cheat". But it might ruin the game experience; it's up to you. Smile

Note: I'm not sure what will happen when you already have some tinderboxes prior to launching that map.

I did, and a bunch of other. On Deviated it said I don't have the appropriate version for the trainer even though I was using version 1.0. How do I check the version of my game? I'm pretty sure it's 1.0 though.

I'll try what Tottel said and thanks Crushed.

I can't find so many trainers. I tried about 5 already, some say the game rejects them, some say they're the right version but do not work in-game, some aren't my version - I know how to work with them as I always used cheathappens whenever I got stuck in a game without cheats.

Can you give me a link to a proper one maybe, please? Thanks.

I've tried different trainers, including one from Deviated forums and this is the message/error I get:

If you are unable to see, the easiest solution is to turn your gamma up to max.
You should be able to see clearly then.
