RE: Justine story

Well, if there was a save option, it would be better. I was playing for 45-50 mins until I got to water part and i was killed. it was so disappointing...

RE: Justine story

I just replayed it again. Managed to save two of the guys but failed on the priest Sad
I'm not sure how you're supposed to figure out that slider puzzle...

I did find some new notes though, including letters from both Daniel and Herbert!

Lack of save adds more to lose, therfor creates more fear. Like in resident evil if you ran out of ink ribbons.

RE: Justine story

but there is something I dont really understand... did Frictional games made that ? Who is Justine ? what is the connection with daniels story and when this is happening ? after or before the dark descent ?

im wondering if FG made it because its really awesome, free DLC's, thats the kind of thing I'm going to forget.

but in an other way, the framerate is just completly unstable !!! i'm having lags every seconds ^^ not really problematic but... maybe its that damn SSAO, i'll try to switch it off tomorrow.

Herbert's letter is in the Library, on a shelf in the first room to the right... you can't see it unless you jump. The Letter from Daniel is hidden under a box on the top of a shelf, in the room where you pick up the lever used to open the door in the flooded dungeon.

Daniel's letter was sent by him after he came home from Algeria and in it he asks for help in figuring out what happened to Herbert. Herbert's letter was about Justine. Apparently he knew Justine's father.

Thanks for the hint on the slider puzzle... How do you get that solution though? Is it hinted in the notes you pick up?

My Frame-rate was fine (was even recording my first Play Through) until I came to the Crypt. When I entered there it got shot down to 9 FPS.

RE: Justine story

HOLY BALLS this DLC is hard. It seems every corner there's a monster and HE DOESN'T GO AWAY.

Was gonna make a thread about this but looks like I was beat to it Big Grin. Played for about 30 mins or so and I managed to save the second guy but couldn't figure out the first one...not to mention I was like "Ooo a lever!" and only noticed after the third pull I was actually slowing killing the dude oops :p

Gonna try to play through it again later tonight but It's really quite frustrating if you die. I really do think the whole no save option adds to the tension by an exponential amount.

Spoiler below!
Think anybody could help me from where I died last so it doesn't happen again? I got to the first water part (where you have to stick the level back into the socket to open the door). Once I did that a monster came and I ran to the door on the right. Does that steel wheel need to be used to get the door to open? Don't know what to do...
