Coins?

The Thalers in the game, that you can place in maps under item (in small [10], medium[25] and large [50] bags), are those still useful in any way? I know in the earlier version of the games, when things like trucks and stuff were locked, you'd have to "buy" the trunk open with Thalers. But can they still be used now in the game?

Yes, they can be used in-game, it's just that you need to script it.

Create a global variable to track the thalers.

I suggest creating a custom item called Thaler Bag or something, that is usable as if it were a potion. In your inventory.hps you can create a callback on-use of the thaler bag to post an inventory message saying how many thalers the player has, as well as giving the player another thaler bag (it'll be consumed if its type is potion)

This way the player won't have to guess Big Grin
