The Game crashes everytime

Solved: 8 Years, 1 Month ago The Game crashes everytime

I have been playing this game alot lately.

But all of a sudden i start getting these crashes, my system if fully updated running Windows 7 64bit

The crash itself says: Amnesia.exe caused EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module Amnesia.exe at 0023:00498A35

I have reinstalled the game 5 times now on steam, tried the cache trick within steam before and after installation

Are you using Steam? Check the integrity of the cache and if that does not help replay from an earlier save from before you first time you entered a level that now crashes. This could be because the game has updated, so you have a saved game containing data that does not entirely match those of the files that are present now after the update.
