Crash on entering inventory screen [Tab]

The game crashes once I enter the inventory screen, The game is installed through steam so the latest patch is installed.

"Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module atioglxx.dll at 0023:69BB7E74, atiPS()+10972932byte(s)"



Here are my specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate
955 black edition
HD 4890
6GB DDR 3 Ram

I suppose you have Windows 7 x86. If so, here you go:

Install this and everything will work afterwards. It is a graphics card driver problem.

I have 64 bit but if its a driver problem i will look for the latest, thank you for the help and quick reply

Still crashing, I press tab to load up the inventory, it works ok but when i open it a second time the screen goes black then when i alt tab black box loads

Try running the game as administrator. If it happens again, can you upload your hpl.log again from Documents/Main/Amnesia?

Does blackbox still says that the module atioglxx.dll crashed the game? This .dll has to do with AMD graphics so it should be fixed. Does it report something different now?

Hey I have kinda the same problem but the game doesnt crash on inventory and journal menus but it lags like HEELLLLLL (The game itself is fine)... It.. just fade-in sloowllly and then I have to end its process because its unbearable....


I have laptop (intel q950 family sys lab says I can run the game)
windows XP Sp2
