Hm, I never had any really close encounters in the spirit realm. I must just be pro at dodging floppy jaws. Tongue Also, not having any lantern oil helped a lot.

Glad you liked the custom story. As you might be able to tell, the reason behind everything is obviously in the diaries so.. the whole place really isn't under his house Smile

There are also some problems, especially at the end.. like the wheels that sometimes spin round like crazy.. and the screeching music at the end (even though the monster is disabled as you touch the orb). These are issues which i'm not sure how to fix so if anyone knows.. i'll be happy to patch it in Smile

Thanks for the playthrough video, the insight is invaluable because it lets me see what areas "worked" well as in gameplay and atmosphere. I was experimenting with a variety and I hope to bring some more developed and also some fresh ideas if i create the sequel.

Still a little hung up on that because of some of the engine limitations. I find i'm having to change my story so it revolves around the engine.. rather than the other way around. I might wait for HPL3 Tongue not sure.
There are some things which can be explored if the player looks into the story and ponders a bit. I didn't want everything to be told to the player (like a child).. I thought it would be more fun if the player could just play the game.. and only if they wanted some insight and looked into it.. they would discover some more depth and maybe some hints at the sequel.

That part were you use the hammer and chipper on the wall, try to make it easier to find out how to do that. It took me 30 minutes to figure it out and I just stopped recording till I found it.

Sorry, still don't know the cause behind this. I can only think that a file has changed on your copy of the game? Maybe from another mod or something.
