Has anyone made some sort of script extender yet?

I remember a few games that permitted mods had one, like something that lets mappers use variables that aren't available yet, like tinderbox count, whether or not the monster sees the player, etc...

If not does anyone know what files to modify in the current level editor, etc to enable the use of these variables (which show up in the debug menu's player info so it should be easy to use)

It might be possible to make one once Frictional Games releases Amnesia's source code.
