Black Plague and Overture buy with Steam don't start

Hello,
when I start one of the game with Steam, nothing happened.
I have the latest drive for my grafics cards (ATI Radeon x1650), I unistall and install the games twice but it didn't work.
I really don't understand , all the other games work, so if anyone can help me (I m french and I don't really know much about computers^^)

Post the hpl.log from My Documents/Penumbra*/ and it might give a clue as to what is wrong.

The problem is that in My Documents there all my STEAM games but not Penumbra (but there is a Penumbra files in my STEAM repertory).

Edit : can I take the hp log on the steam repertory ?

Ok I'll trie to find out how to catch the hpl.log and I'll come back to post it.


Edit : it's ok it works now, I don't know why but it works!

just post the problem is one of my vriends has the same problem and they cant figrue it out
