Vertex Shaders Problem !!

Hi, I bought the penumbra collections and I installed all 3 games, but when i start one of them i got an error wich say: ''Your graphics card does not support vertex shaders'', i saw already 2 threads about it but no-one of the ''fix'' said work for me.

My video card is an ATI HD 4850, of course it supports vertex shaders..

What i did already:

Re-install multiple times new drivers and tryed also some old.
Re-install the game.


Please help me !

Did you install/update your graphic drivers?

as i wrote, yes i did multiple times.

Do you have a builtin graphics chip from intel as well? Could be that the game is trying to run on that chip instead if the ati card. Check the sticky thread for troubleshooting help regarding dual graphics chips.

no i dont have a builtin graphics chip from intel, i just have an ATI 4850.

Make sure to uninstall the old driver, reboot and then install the new driver. If that does not help then try changing the settings in the ati control panel to see if something is in conflict with the game.
