Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Hey guys, i have a question about mods such as White Night. So its full conversion, does that mean if i install it i will lose my whole Amnesia progress, all custom stories and wont be able to play normal amnesia unless i re-install the whole game again ? If so is there any way to save my progress of Amnesia ?

Full conversions are given the option to specify their own game saves directory. White Night specifies one that is different than the original campaign and therefore won't affect your other game saves.

If you install it correctly, you won't ruin the main game.
