Graphics Error on Amnesia the Dark Descent

Sorry, if this has already been answered somewhere else on the forums, but I have searched for a bit and couldn't find anything relating to my problem.

I have the steam copy of Amnesia and, for a while, it worked perfectly fine. That is, until, a strange glitch started to occur: nothing will display.

The game will load up like normal, but, when it gets to the menu, only the menus itself displays.

When I go to play the game, the sounds will work and I can tell I am moving around, but the graphics do not display. When I activate any of the menus, however, they will display and function. But I can't see any objects or any textures.

I have, on three separate attempts, verified the game cache to ensure that was not the problem.

I can also tell you that I have note modded the game in anyway.

However, I did move my entire steam library onto an external hard drive to save on space. However, this has not negatively affected any of my other games.

I use an Intel® HD Graphics Family graphics card running on Driver Version 8.15.10.2279

The same thing is happening to me too. However, this is happening when I just downloaded Amnesia. I even posted my problem on Yahoo Answers because I also thought no one else had the same problem.

The pictures from what I'm seeing on the menu and when the game starts are provided in my question. I also used Intel® HD Graphics Family, but I don't know the Driver Version (I'm not a big computer person and this is the first time I've ever downloaded a PC game).

It seems you have Windows 7 x64 and you downloaded the x86 driver. Make sure you select Windows 7 (64-bit) and download the latest driver.

@ Errikka You downloaded an incompatible verison. Search for one that has windows7x64 in it's filename.
