Don't forget that before you buy a graphics card that if you buy anything "slightly" demanding, and high-end (Pretty much everything these days IMHO), you'll need an adequate power supply unit (PSU )to match. The wattage amount of your PSU is written on the PSU inside the computer. The PSU is a "box" on the side of your computer's case which is connected to its main power plug.

Most power supplies have power of anywhere from 300w to 1000w. If you have anything 600+ you'll probably be good to go unless the graphics card you decide to buy is super expensive. If it's 500 below though you might have to take that into consideration before making a purchase.
