Sound crackles

The sound keeps crackling on the center channel, whenever I move or turn around. If I stand still, the sound is ok. I've tried disabling enviromental sound in the options menu but it doesn't help.

My sound card is an Asus Xonar D2, is anyone else with this card experiencing a similar issue?

Are you running in hardware or software? Have you tried both options and experience the same problem?

Tired to update the drivers for the card?

noticed you said center speaker so I suppose you run in hardware, how does it work in software?

I have the same problem ,but after the new patch 1.01 ! i have Realtek AC97 audio , vista ultimate 32bit
