RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Part 2

When reading this article here, it says AAMFP is expected in 3rd quarter of 2013 for the PC.

I want to know where they are getting this information. Or are they just making rough estimations...

They probably got the Q3 date from The Escapist article, and a source for that date wasn't even given so it's highly suspicious.

Then again, it could refer to either his own children or the ones working in the factory.

Since he most likely has amnesia, or has forgotten the recent past, his children might actually be long dead and his last memories of them is that they are alive but might be in danger.

This whole children deal confuses me. I think I will assume for now that the children made such an impression on him that he decided to adopt them all. Though it is possible that he had one or two biological children that he loved dearly, and was very neutral and did not care about the others and just gave them food in cold exchange for workforce.

Confuzzling! But yush. My best guess is that the notes we have seen so far are based on extremely strong impressions on Oswald, and that he not only grew a big fondness of the children, but that he also was completely crushed and drained by losing them.

Haha, you know, I was thinking the exact same thing once I read about the upcoming event. I think it is epic that they are taking their precious time to answer some questions. I think it is definitely going to sparkle some hype for the game, while not giving too much away.

I shall see if I can come up with something to ask. Ooh ... Excite! X3

I love how custom story creators would get ripped apart for screenshots this black, but TCR gets away with it...

It's totally true. I really wonder why it is that they had it so black. As to show how dark it's going to be? Or because they're trying to hide some of the graphics and not reveal too many visuals/have it more mysterious (which fails because I've seen sites where they just raised the gamma and you can actually make out things)? Or something else?

Or was it just plain bad screenshot taking/editing?

I think there may be some sort of brightness issues involved with some of these screenshots, because I've also seen screenshots of the same things on different sites, but had "normal" looking light, and contrast.

First the release date was set for 2013 Q2 now Q3? more delays, but I am hoping it'll be worth it.
