RE: Collapsing Comsos : The Silver Key

Thanks man !
The first screen actually is a "cinematic" map, it's a point of the game where you're not able to explore the world. The "real" R'lyeh, that you'll be able to explore, is another map and i'm doing the best I can to make it look good. This is still my first CS, so I'm having a hard time with mapping : D.
Here's a screenie for you, but as you can see I have more work to do with the lighting, because right now it's kind of hard to understand how the level is structured. This is just so you can see a bit more if you want :3

Yeeah, it's incredibly hard for me to guess how the level is structured... This window thing on the left-down side is bothering me, is it originally in Dungeonbase? Or perhaps it's just a well... Damn that's complicated stuff

RE: Collapsing Comsos : The Silver Key

It's nowhere ^^. The "window" is made using 8 welders (from dungeonbase, you are right), 8 planes, billboards and pointlights. I kinda wanted to recreate the chaotic architecture described by Lovecraft with messing up with logic, I don't know how you guys will feel when playing it. Walking through the level should give you a better view of the location, but it's too early for that.

RE: Collapsing Comsos : The Silver Key

Sorry for the double-post : <. Trying to keep it down but when I post pictures I like that people see the Thread has been updated. Please don't hurt me.

So anyway, take a look at this picture : D
That gives a way better impression of what R'lyeh looks like. I still got a lot of work to do on this map, but to be honest when I'll be done with R'lyeh there won't be much left to do with the mapping in my CS.
Please give me some feedback <3

I am very honored >w< !
If you want, I can make you a background for the Amnesia menu with this map ^^. You will have to wait until the mod is released, though :3.

Once again, thanks for the support <3. I sure did not expect so much positive feedback for a first mod.

The mod is released : ). Give your feedback here or on ModDB, just know that ModDB is bugged and you won't be able to rate the mod yet. It will be doable soon though !
