Windows 7 vs. Windows Vista vs. Windows XP

Windows 7 gives more FPS on games.
I can run Alone in the dark 1 on windows 7 and every single game without a problem ^_^.

Windows 7, hands down. This is more prominent now than when this thread was new over two years ago..with the increasing number of DX11 titles. XP only does 9.0c at best.

By the way..not sure whose heard, but Windows 8 is slated for 2012...

Yes. It works only on Windows XP. Might work on earlier versions of Windows but it didn't work on Windows 7.

I've only managed to get it to work under Windows XP.
I tried it twice on Windows 7 and it gave an error telling me that the current version of Windows is not supported, or something similar at least.
