Not Close Enough?
Be gentle.... Newbie here.
Bought the Penumbra 3/Pack. Starting with Overture.
I am inside a ship cabin roaming around checking things out.
Working on what keys / mouse buttons do etc. Learning curve.
Anyway, tried to get into the desk drawer (show red hand) to retrieve flashlight but whenever I give it a go I get this dang "Not close enough" message!
I even try to 'grab" other things with red hand, same message.
Driving me bonkers..... IF I am not close enough where am I?? Huh
What am I not doing... OR doing wrong. It has got to be something simple I am missing.
Thanks
PW

RE: Not Close Enough?
Use your WASD keys to move your charcter closer to the draws, then try again.

Press R to toggle interactive mode on and off.. notice the difference it makes.

Risk sounding dumb:

WASD KEYS?? Are you referring to the corresponding keys on the keyboard?
Is there a help file I can download/ print out for this game?
Thanks

RE: Not Close Enough?
Look in the controls menu. It has the ability to assign a key to each action you wish to perform. As with most games, by default, W makes you walk forward, A makes you strafe left, D makes you strafe right, and S makes you backpace. I call the keys my WADS instead of WASD becuase it sounds cooler.

Also use the spacebar to jump, the ctrl key to toggle crouching, and holding down shift while walking in any direction to run.
