RE: Low Requirement games
Ack. I was just about to suggest Starcraft and Vice City. Used to play them on my laptop.
Some other games that might work though: Age of Empires II, Empire Earth II, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (great multiplayer if anyone is still playing), Diablo II, Baldurs Gate II and House of the Dead 2 if you've got a mouse... come to think of it all those games are twos (Pandora Tomorrow is the second Splinter Cell game) :surprised:

Worst regards, Kejdane.

I really liked the Myth series, and Commandos. Both are real-time-tactics.

The Myth series are great. Hard though, but the challenge is really fun. Didn't manage to win the entire first game (cheated past everything after the great desert map with a bridge at the end, except for the final or final two levels) but completed the entire second game.
It's sweet when your heroes start having like 100+ kills. Used the same dwarves for entire Myth II. Kind of made the other units not feel as important though. I'd love a new Myth game, the idea with each character having an unique name is cool.

RE: Low Requirement games
Have you tried out Frictional's free games, Fiend and Energetic? They're pretty good, if short, it'll provide some fun for ya I'm sure, even for a little while.

Battle for Wesnoth I'd have to recommend, if you haven't tried it already. It's a turn-based strategy game/RPG, and it's damn well-made. Check it out!

It's made by the Linux community (although Windows versions are available), and I must admit, it's one of the best free games I've ever played. It might not look impressive with its simple sprites and animation, but the game play aspects are stupendous.
