When will 1.0.1 patch be out on Steam?

Hello, retail 1.0.1 patch is now out for steam for over 2 days (since sept 22). However, steam version of the game still does not have update available on steam. Unfortunately, retail patch cannot be applied to steam version of the game. Is there a specific date for the patch to be released on steam? Further, is there a reason why steam version customers are left behind? Thanks for your time.
