Overture won't start up

I've tried Steam forums ( they won't reply), 4chan, Facepunch, nothing helps. Surely the actual forum for the game has to have an answer. When I first installed Penumbra and tried to run it, I was not in the admin account. When I tried to run, it wanted to install something but couldn't because of the privelages unavailable to me. When I logged into the admin profile, it would not even start up. I'm in the admin account right now and am wanting to stick forks in my eyeballs. Also, this is all in Steam.

Delete all associated files, uninstall, and then reinstall from the admin account. Or update drivers. But it sounds like an install glitch to me.

Well I've tried that but nothing seems to work. Ah well since the pricks here refuse to help, I'm just gonna pirate. It's really not worth the hastle. Thank you though for trying to help
