Radeon HD 6870 problem

Looks like I have a compatibility issue with Amnesia and my new video card =(

I just played Crisis at 1920 x 1080 - All settings on ULTRA high. Not a single frame drop. Simply amazing! But when I open Amnesia, I go through the opening intro's and crash when I get to the profile selection screen.

My rig - AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE @ 3.4ghz / gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4 / 4gig ram OCZ3P1600LV2G / 2x 1TB WDC WD1002FAEX-00Z3A0 Black SATA 6g / Windows 7 Ult. 64bit / Soundblaster x-fi / All drivers are up to date, plus this is a fresh format and install of Windows 7

I am going o try some other games to see what happens...

Try "downgrading" your drivers.

Did you download the drivers from ATI?

Have you tried any other OpenGL game? Perhaps Doom3/Quake4

I am sorry for the troubles...I think I was premature to blame Amnesia (happens all the time ) anyway, I returned the XFX card and swapped for a Sapphire 6870. I opened Amnesia and was playing it in minutes. 1st XFX card and the last XFX card I will ever get. Thanks for the help though =)
