HPL 2 downloading help

I have been trying to download the HPL2 editor and am having a problem figuring it out. I am using this website

I hope that’s the right one I have amnesia for steam, I am not sure how to unpack the file. I saved it in the right place but I don’t know what to do next.

also it says that SDL.dll how do I install that?

lastly I am using windows 7 will that work or is it only for windows xp

Extract the archive file where Amnesia.exe and Launcher.exe is.

I put the files into the launcher then extracted them it didnt work, is that what I was suppose to do?

Just extract them to steamdir/steamapps/common/amnesia.

I have done that now when I try and launch it it says "SDL.dll is missing"

5 seconds of googling brought me to that.

The Windows version of Amnesia is distributed with a copy of the SDL.dll and many other dynamic libraries. If your executable is not in the same directory as those, it won't be able to find them.
