RE: Most memorable sound
So most scariest sound I ever heard in Amnesia happens when you leave Archives after that puzzle with books. There is unique brute-like sound in the hall that makes me uncomfortable every time.
Only this, nothing else.

Without a doubt, whenever I hear this music I become scared. God I hate this theme. (Orb Chamber / Portal opening music)

There is? I mean I know there is lot's of brute noises in the archives, but idk about unique ones, and at that particular moment.

I think the scariest moment in the archives is when you suddenly hear the locked door be forced open. I about pissed myself when I heard that.

OMG OMG OMG OMG IM NOOOT ALOOONE IN HERE

Quote:The footsteps in the Wine Cellar did that to me as well lol

In that case I got so damn scared I saved and exited lmfao

I played the game twice. Never heard this one anywhere except that place. At last I don't remember.

Definitely the tortured animals howling in pain in Study, really creepy and atmospheric.

-The ten second looping music that plays in the Archives and few other rooms. Sounds like mooing.
-Brute moaning, especially in the Archives.
-Footsteps in Wine Cellar.
-Sawing and crying before entering the torture room. The picture is also burned into my skull.
-Agrippa: Pull zee switch...

RE: Most memorable sound
My most memorable sounds are either the sound at the beginning of the game when you are walking down the hallway near the art room, when your character begins to get a bit loopy and you can hear screams and whispers. Another one was probably on my second playthrough when I wanted the bad ending, and I listened to all those flashbacks and screams. ugh
