Arggh please help. a bug is killing me..

It must be a bug because i can't past the digging machine. Reloading a save game won't work either and now i just have 1 save game in that room. Anybody can send me a save with the machine on because all i have is the message that there's no power in the console.

Why??? i have done everything. Key in machine, gasoline, used both plugs etc.

Could you please attach a zip your save folder (in My Documents/Penumbra Overture/Episode 1/) and also explain as exactly as you can what steps you have made.

OK well there's not much to do except plug the wire in the console and in the power. Done that. Used the key, done that, put gasoline in yellow machine. etc

I have encountered that bug also. I plugged the power cords in to the machine and generator, then i was stuck at the ladder part so i thought i would unplug them. BUT instead of allowing me to grab the cord it just unplugged it for me and then left it stuck to where it should be plugged in. Had to reload a save file. Also this same thing happened while picking up the battery behind the electric fence. It is some error with your uh socket system thingie...
