The most saddest ending I've ever seen was the legend of zelda twilight princess
When midna shattered the glass so she left link and zelda to return to twilight world and never seen again.
Film: hachiko,about a dog named hachiko and his master, when his master died the dog waits till his master come back (even his master already dead) at the train station until the dog dies silently...
"Life of Brian" man... That ending where everyone starts to sing made me cry...
But seriously now... I would say "Old boy", Its not exactly a sad ending but... there was a mixture of very strong feelings thrown in there so I'll personally choose that one.
"Children of men" had a very strong ending as well. But again not exactly a "crying like a baby" kind of sad.
It was a movie for me :
30 days of night (2007), just watched it last night and I almost cried at the end ;-;

It's not a movie I saw recently but I remember getting a very sad feeling when watching the ending: Dances With Wolves. I've never cried to a movie but I have to say that the ending was quite emotional.
The Walking Dead (game). Second time I've cried during a game.

Many parts of the movie 'Patch Adams'.
I haven't cried at any form of media for many, many years now, but the closest I came to crying in recent memory was in the Walking Dead game's ending.
And I wasn't even the one playing it. I was watching a Let's Play
