I am having a weird problem with the brightness in my game. For some reason my display adapters only decide to crash when I am playing Amnesia and when it does the brightness that I have set in the game have been stuck on my screen. I thought that my brightness was just turned up the first time it happened, so I turned my brightness down on my monitor. Well, it just happened again and my monitor is still on my old brightness. How do I fix my screen brightness. (I have tried restarting my PC and that doesn't help either.)
Edit: Also, if I go back in game and lower the brightness that doesn't help either.
this is a gpu driver issue most probably. Are your graphics card drivers updated?

I think so I had dell take control of my PC the other day and they had to install them off the dell website. It fix the issue somewhat, but I still get the issue when playing Amnesia.

Edit: After looking around my desktop I found were my AMD control center was and reset the settings which fixed it.
if they updated it from dell most probably the drivers are old. If you have similar issues in the future you might want to update them manually. Just saying...

Well when dell updated my drivers they asked me if I updated them already and I said Yes and then they asked me where did I update them and I said off the AMD website and they said that dell modifies each card so they only work correctly with the update on their website. Which I find incredibly stupid.
yeah right, OEM crap. Don't listen to them. In case you have problems in the future you should try an update. They never release updated drivers after the laptop/desktop is out.

Also, yesterday I got the BSOD: VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR, does that have to do with my graphics card not being updated?
Yes your drivers are not working correctly.

1) What graphics card do you have?
2) Is it a laptop or a desktop? What model?
3) What operating system do you have? Also 32bit or 64bit?

I have a AMD Radeon HD 7570, I use a desktop, and it's Windows 8 64bit.
make sure you have Catalyst 13.1 installed which is the latest available as for now from the AMD site: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/wi...sta64.aspx
