Hehe, no iam a beginner
I just like it much to do modelling, espacially for a game when other people use them Big Grin
but thx for your compliment
It's a little intimidating, but it's not hard to do once you get into it, especially static models that are blocky. When you start doing animation and rigging and such, that's when it can get tough. :V

I really like that axe though Don, too bad we can't actually use them. D:
thx Bigzy, yeah you are right... rigging Angry i tried several hours to rig a new monster for the game, but i gave up because i had to use maya...
i dont get why so many people use maya its so circuitous to model and to rig. i hope for the new blender version to export/import bones and animation too

what you mean we canĀ“t use them? you mean fight with the axe?
Yea, to fight with them. D:

I switched to Maya because the up axis in 3DS is only Z up and you can't change it. :V I have Blender too, but I've never really used it.

The rigging is actually pretty decent once you learn the tricks, like how to change weights on specific vertices in the component editor, how to reroot skeletons, add joints in between other joints, etc.
Hi!

I am totally new to Amnesia editing, and i cant seem to understand how to use the custom models. Where should i extract them?

I added the flashlight.
What about sel's cannon models?
I think he's done some other models too, they seem to be pretty high quality
