I got a yellow container for my custom story. The problem is, I can only get it in the game if i choose another entity, place it, and then click the "..." and find it in the folder where I have it. But then when I save and exit, and then wanna continue on the map it sais "Found some errors while loading the map" and the yellow container is gone :o Same with the breakable chandelier =/
Tried turning off/on the forcecacheloading thingy but none worked :o
Where did you place it? It should be in entities/items folder.
Well, placed it in my custom story folder, in entities folder :o It's retail bought, if that matters~

redist/entities? or a folder inside entities? If the previous, try to place it in a folder instead and check from inside there.
If you are making a custom story, you have to place entities in both folders.
Didn't really follow you there, don't think retail bought got a redist folder
So when I open Amnesia, in the editor suite I click open custom stories, and inside my own custom storie I created a folder called entities, and inside of that is where I put the container :o
You have to put those files into both your custom story folder and in game's actual folders. Like this:
You have an entity, put it here and there:
- Your Custom Story Folder/entities
- Games' Actual Folder/entities
Otherwise every time you open your map, you will have to place that entity again and again.
Oh sorry if I gave bad info, but I don't think we have a redist folder, so I got no clue how to put in the game's actual folder :o

If you don't have a redist folder, simply skip that path altogether.
For example:
Steam: Amnesia/entities
All other purchases: Amnesia/redist/entities.
OOokay... So I go to Users - Library - Application Support - Frictional Games - Amnesia, and inside there is the mainsettings, installkey, all users and stuff, but redist? I thought redist were only steam bought? o.O
