This was my favourite game back in the day. I had a friend who had the expansion: Zero Hour, I'd borrow it as often as I could. Man I loved that game ^^

On the topic of games: Finished Assassin's Creed 3 today, Ubisoft should be ashamed for making such a big pile of horseshit and calling it a game, and even worse; making it the "ending" for Assassin's Creed!

What do you mean? Shitting brix over the new album in what way exactly?

And what do you mean about refreshing the page?

Like they're all freaking the fuck out because people have been waiting for this for 21 years.

Also they posted a download to the new album on their website, but so many people rushed to it at once that the servers crashed and now no one can get in, so I'm just going to keep refreshing the page until it finally works...

Oh I see...

I'm not a big fan of MBV, I appreciate their music and everything as well as the genre which they influenced as a whole however.

Shoegaze or whatever people wanna call it died out years ago, which for me makes the release exciting because it could revive the genre if its good or could really be a "huh thats it?" album. Fuck me, I'd piss myself if it wasn't anything like their old stuff.

RE: Random Stuff

This is just a pet peeve of mine, but saying any genre is "dead" is dumb. Maybe certain genres aren't nearly as big as they used to be, but with the internet allowing people to get into styles of music that haven't been big in years there will always be a few bands out there that are either heavily inspired by the genre or play it. I bet you you could probably find at least a dozen good shoegaze albums from last year alone.

Essentially this:

RE: Random Stuff

Fair enough... And TheNeedleDrop is pretty good in his views.

I drop the phrase "dead" perhaps too often where I don't mean it is stone cold gone forever, but I still stick to what I am trying to get at. Grunge took over shoegaze as it slowly started to erode. You cannot deny that.

Its true that new music does borrow aspects of other genre sometimes without even meaning to. I will be honest and say that I haven't done any digging around for shoegaze for the new stuff. So I can't say much otherwise I could totally contradict myself.

But anyways, MBV could revive the genre near to how it used to be.
