I'm trying to get back into the scare spirit? Could anyone recommend a brilliant Custom Story? I've played Deterioration, White Night, La Caza and Abduction.

Obscurity is quite good, also has custom monsters Smile

Play Penumbra if you didn't yet.

You're crazy man! Play Crysis 3, Assassin's Creed 3, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Dead Space 3, Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth, Silent Hill 2, Alan Wake...

Play Penumbra? you're joking! Everybody is tired of this game, damn it!

I'm not tired of it, which makes your "everybody" not everybody. In my opinion it is way more interesting and creepy than Amnesia, and I enjoyed it a lot more...
I liked black plague the most.
I see everyone saying yes Call of Cthulhu is great...
I played it the start was kinda strange hmmm I'm locked lets explore, hmm a scary basement lets explore (in his flashback/vision)
Then when you get to downer-vile you have to talk to grumpy downers and walking past police man who have a compass in his brain with you as pole.

You should read The Shadow over Innsmouth

Followed By Death is a creepy one. The first custom story that I played. Cannibalism, it is short, but has great potential. One I can really recommend is Lost The Lights. It has some jumpscares, and I really hate jumpscares, but it just feels as if the custom story generally just has had a lot of work put into it. The text/grammar quality is a little bit lacking, you will see, but it looks really good, particularly some areas, and it really gives you both a terrifying time and a true marathon. I have played it for ages, and I still have not finished it. It is so long. xD

White Night, full conversion version (if there even are other versions of it) is pretty good, as well, and definitely different. Play that one if you want a different setting and want a mysterious story. Some parts in it got really terrifying, in my opinion.

I suggest The Great Work, it has new monsters in it, and it's really long, I have yet to finish it. I've also heard Obscurity and Rain are good as well

Hello there every one! i am new to the fourm. I have been following up on aamfp for a while now since i have began making amnesia youtube videos (ill supply a link in a later post due to me being and school right now and i cannot access youtube), and greatly anticipate the coming of the new game. I am reletively new to making videos and i would appreciate all of your comments and criticism as well and any recomendations to aid my videos. I also plan to post videos the moment aamfp is released. my style of play is still maturing because of my lack of experience in making videos... anyways ill be frequently posting and im happy t be a part of this fourm community Big Grin

Well before you go and advertise your youtube channel, this is not exactly a discussion thread for youtube channels, and before you make a thread of one for yourself, know that to keep the forum sub-sections organized and not cluttered with various youtube channel advertisement threads bumping other discussions down, I advise you to post whatever you have in mind here:
http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-15096.html

Welcome to the forums otherwise! =]

...and Headfirst Productions "stole" ideas from H.P. Lovecraft, which by the way, is one of the main influences to all of Frictional Games' works.

I am very disappointed!
