I see people making threads for short stories again.

I remember this one thread I made a long while ago in response to a bunch of Amnesia related short stories with a Fifty Shades of Grey vibe known as Fifty Shades of Orb. I was getting a bit tired of them flooding the forums, so I made a thread with a short story entitled "Fifty Dollars of Porn" to sort-of parody the existing Fifty Shades of Orb short stories.

Some time after that thread was locked, I tried making a short story megathread, which kind of failed and got locked as well.

EDIT: I found that older thread I made; turns out I made that short story megathread before the Fifty Dollars of Porn thread, and my Fifty Dollars of Porn thread was the last straw before mods started locking threads about people making porn about each other.

Don't blame yourself. It's unhealthy and unnecessary; you opened up a thread and discussion was tossed around. It was not the birth of anything really - mostly misinterpretation, ethical approaches varying by opinion, personal beliefs and relationships which have sparked a rather dramatic conflict.

Though the events have occurred, they may or may not yet have passed, however all parties were being honest. It's just that honesty can be either misinterpreted, agreed upon or argued - some in positive ways, some in negative.

There are multiple members and parties to blame, not one single individual - but in all essence, the whole thing just seemed to become jumbled up in a mixture of topics. It's almost difficult to pinpoint a start because everything has taken place over multiple threads, different times, and differ from person to person.

Don't blame yourself Whitticus. You were just did what you wanted. Things just got out of hand. They may still, but don't think you caused it.

Is it me, or do I have a habit of stirring up shit once in a while on Off Topic?.

Not saying that cause I felt I did something on this thread, just curious because I notice this kind of thing when it comes to me and other threads.

Well sometimes it might not be your fault, there's always a reason behind everything...

I myself have a habit of retaliating and aggressively I might add, its from my father's side since he had a short temper but he was a great father figure...

That explains my short temper... but I do try to be a nice person but I am quite an asshole i've noticed...
