SAW 1 is quite good, but such movies are not the sort of horror everybody must have watched. I wanted to recommend non-mainstream horror movies with art and which take serious about the genre. Horror movies that does all right about the genre instead being "popcorn cinema" are always very rare.

When there are worse horror movies, then I remember "Event Horizon", "Pandorum" and "Resident Evil". Of course some del Toro like "Mama" and "Crimson Peak".

Be aware, whilst the "vs" part of Freddy V Jason is really good, the majority of the movie is about annoying teenagers running around doing dumb things. So there's really not a whole lot of F V J
