I kinda had the feelings that he was going to die but i wanted him to die fighting, not being backstabbed and have him and his whole family unarmed and butchered during a wedding.

Exactly, it's a little unfair for the character. But again, that's what I like about GoT. It catches you off guard.

edit: Also, i hope the old bastard dies a slow death
