I see this alot, 'huge' areas with mostly nothing in them.
Try to fill up your halls and hallways with more props, but make sure they fit with their surroundings. Or you could try and make areas smaller.
When I look at the screenshots of your corridors, I see no reason why they would be so wide.
Take your bathroom for example; why is it that big? why is that broken mirror on that wall? I know it looks nice and neat, exactly in the middle, but it doesn't make sense. Why isn't it above the sink?
When you 'decorate' your rooms, try to think why things are in certain places, and don't just smack them somewhere because it looks nice.
Also, use the tiling options on your planes, so that you see minimal repeatance.
