Overture Item - Padlock

Some may think it doesn't have a reason, but in fact it's the most important item in the game. This peculiar item shows that Philip's mind and destiny is similar to a Padlock. It protects many thoughts, many memories. But once you unlock the padlock, you can never lock it again. In Philip's case, once you enter the mine you cannot truly leave it. That, I believe.

I hope you're joking, 'cause that's extremely far fetched, Just saying.. It's probably just a flaw in the game, or we just haven't discovered it's use yet.
